The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex two-time world boxing king Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I will damage his features and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to seriously aim to injure him. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
In spite of these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - typically known for his showmanship - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British rival Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.
Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
However, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's biggest financial successes, consistently making huge financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and asserted he would prevent the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.
"It will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Size Difference
As Joshua and Paul met for the usual confrontation, with their size difference evident, it emphasized just how surprising this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the fight is truly happening.
